Margaret Todd — Founder, Developer, CEO, Creative Force
Oheya is the result of a one-woman mission to fix what's broken in social media. Margaret has a background in fashion design (Master’s degree), is self-taught in coding and development, and brings over a decade of creative experience across digital and physical spaces.
She designed Oheya from the ground up — every pixel, every policy, every line of code — with the belief that the future of online connection should serve people, not algorithms. From accessible design to strong ethical foundations, Oheya reflects her uncompromising vision for a better internet. She’s also got a thing for castles, cats, alt fashion, and total transparency.
Eya — The Mascot, Chaos Gremlin, and Guide to the Oheya-verse
Eya is the face (and attitude) of Oheya - a mischievous little mascot created in 3D by Margaret herself.
She’ll be your sassy companion during your first 7 days on Oheya, helping you find your way around the platform. After that, you can keep her around as your notification messenger (because who doesn’t love a dramatic entrance when you get a like?). Eya represents the rebellious, playful spirit of Oheya: unconventional, unfiltered, and totally over the algorithmic BS.
